Paper Trails

Paper Trails (2024)
Role: Curator, Artist, and Producer

Paper Trails was an exhibition curated and produced in collaboration with the Scout House in Biskopsgården, Gothenburg. The project explored the lifecycle of paper as both a material and a metaphor — from scraps discarded by local businesses to artworks that carried stories of resilience, transformation, and renewal.

The exhibition included a participatory station where visitors could witness the papermaking process, connecting directly with how waste materials can be reimagined into something new. The artworks on display ranged from handmade paper sheets and poetry inscribed on them, to sculptures crafted from paper clay, each piece speaking to the themes of forgotten fragments, scars, and the beauty that shines through them.

By weaving together process, material, and narrative, Paper Trails invited audiences to reflect on sustainability, memory, and the quiet power of renewal embedded in everyday materials.
